Tarpon Fishing from a Kayak?

There have been varying reports on tarpon fishing from great to not so great. ‘Haven’t seen any; had hundreds of happy fish around the boat but couldn’t get a damn bite; put six in the and boated three.’ Go figure. They tell me that the water is exceptionally warm. That may be having some affect. Who knows?
